Based on the critically acclaimed memoir, H Is for Hawk is a meditative and emotionally resonant film that traces one woman’s passage through grief and renewal. Following the sudden death of her father, respected academic Helen (Claire Foy, The Crown) withdraws from the familiar rhythms of life and turns instead to the ancient, exacting art of falconry. As she attempts to train a fierce and untamed goshawk, the film unfolds as a quiet dialogue between human vulnerability and the natural world’s indifference and beauty.
