Established in 1998, MANHATTAN SHORT is an international festival of short films, with the same 10 films screened in venues around
the world during a single week. Best Film and Best Actor awards
are determined by ballots cast by the audiences in each participating venue, and each film in the festival becomes Oscar-qualified. The
10 films making up the 2019 festival come from Canada, France, Iran, Germany, Finland, USA, and the UK. This year the festival is
being screened in 400 venues across 6 continents and Algoma
International Films is
the only place to see it in Canada!

(France), Debris (USA), Driving Lessons (Iran), Tipped (Canada), Sylvia (UK), The Match (Finland), This Time Away (UK), Malou (Germany), A Family Affair (UK), and At The End of the World (USA).
